This is sort of a follow on from my last feature suggestion (payment link for any amount). I was watching a twitch stream the other day and obviously people can donate through various methods to twitch users (streamlabs, twitch bits, paypal etc) and they all have various fees.
I think if VibePay can add the last feature I suggested (any amount) then it could provide a fast, efficient way to donate to your favourite streamers directly, fee free! With VibeWarzone going on (and potentially more Vibe eSports in the future), I think it could be a great tool to help build the Vibe brand while helping supporters save money and streamers getting 100% of the donations?
Looking at twitch bits, twitch make a killing on them. The most basic package is £1.38 for 100 bits. I think each bit is the equivalent of a penny for the streamer so I pay £1.38 to twitch and I can donate a quid to the streamer.. that's a shocking markup (obviously there are discounts on bigger purchases but still a money maker for twitch). Imagine if the streamer could add a vibe link that could be connected up to their twitch account. This would obviously mean a lot more work for the tech team (sorry folks) getting the API linked up with streaming software or the bots used on twitch (OBS, streamlabs, nightbot etc) but I think it could work. Maybe Vibe has its own bot (VibeBot obviously) to announce to chat about donations? Loads of possibilities, big potential??
Imagine hundreds of twitch streamers getting pop ups in game "LukeMassie just vibed you £20!". Maybe even throw out a weekly hashtag (#TwitchVibeTuesday, #TwitchVibes, #VibePayStreaming ??) where VibePay donate to random streamers using VibePay in their stream?
Thoughts?? Might not even be possible to connect the 2 from a tech side of things but just thought i'd throw it out there. Apologies if i've rambled on a bit or repeated myself!
