As some of you may know, we are very close to rolling out a HUGE update to the VibePay app which has been massively influenced by you guys, the VibePay Community.

If you missed the blog post that speaks about the new features coming to VibePay you can catch up here.

With this in mind, our eyes and ears are firmly looking out for your ideas and suggestions on how VibePay can keep improving.

This could be ideas on the VibePay app in general, ways to improve the new features that are coming or even how we can improve the VibePay Community in any way.

With that being said, we look forward to speaking with you on this post.

JayShepherd_VP RiRi To create a group where you can all put money in for holiday savings etc? Everyone can deposit and either a nominated person to withdraw or everyone has 1 digit of a password and it has to be entered to withdraw?

JayShepherd_VP I think we'd benefit from a way to create a link to your profile where you can just add any amount of money.
It would be good for those who need help or want to raise money for something.

I think the addition of peoples pictures should be added and add the option of using vibe like PayPal where you can pay through that instead of the bank. Good app function overall!

Divided payments? like if someone can’t pay the money in one go there should be an option to pay part! especially if the amount is a lot

Misfitsworld As it stands, payments are sent instantly as VibePay is a peer to peer payments app, however we will take this consideration on board and potentially look at how something like this may fit in the future, thank you!

Podycust Great suggestion, as you may know a UK phone number is needed to connect to the VibePay app, you could actually use a tablet with VibePay however it would need to be one of those tablets that use a SIM card which in reality aren't that common so, we would need to look at different verification methods in future. Thanks for your input!

To be able to change your profile picture and maybe have a contact list to see easier who else is using Vibepay? Other than that love the app it’s great🥰

A desktop version would be ideal, as well as an iOS 14 update (which I'm sure you're working on!). At the moment, the app crashes when using iOS 14

The ability to change your name once your account is attached to your phone number, I am reverting to my maiden name and can’t seem to change it

Heathhog73 Hi there, great suggestion and certainly something to consider. It is quite a simple administrative task so I can see this being available soon, in the meantime drop us an email help@vibepay.com asking for a name change and we can facilitate that for you on our end, thanks!

An ability to add friends in the app! I know that it’s usually done via a link, however it’d be cool if you could add somebody that you need to exchange money with frequently as a friend into the app to make it quicker!!

Reyanneeeee So like if I opened someone's request but didn't immediately have the funds available it would let them know when it would be payed and then automatically send the payment through on the selected date.

I cant help but feel that a payment link feels a little demanding? Maybe just me feeling oversensitives but it can come across as i want payment! pay me! Could it somehow be delivered in a way that suggests this person has asked if you would be willing to pay this amount for "insert reason here" ?

bobnot Yeah, like you can request the money but can type out a little message along with it to soften the blow of what may come across as a GIVE ME MONEY!!

A reward system which goes hand in hand with using Vibe as a second bank. So when you purchase something on EBay through vibe you are rewarded and able to redeem vouchers for places.

To have a specific link link a 'paypal.me' which people can give any amount of money that they wish to. This feature can also be useful for charities and fundraisers.

A referral program might be a good idea? Like if someone signs up and vibes x amount of money they can get a fiver or something, Bar that make vibe available at more retail places but I’m sure that’ll come in due time ✌️ #GoodVibesOnly

also maybe in the future maybe integrate crypto payments?

A few things -
1) For it to be more private, right now everyone ends up with your bank details when they click your link to pay, which is fine if you're sharing it among people who you trust but I don't necessarily want anyone else to have my account number and sort code.
2) Related to the above - to have a unique username like with cash app so again people do not get a hold of your bank details.

Open banking is horrible with my bank to use with vibepay, it's easier for me to log on to online banking, add a recipients ACC/SC, go through phone security checks etc, and then transfer the money rather than click someone's vibepay link, which opens the vibepay app, then click to confirm their amount, then it leads to my banks website where I have to enter my details to log in, and then follow the above steps anyway etc...
